Question of the Day

Published November 05, 2019

What is a ticket record?

  1. The number of tickets sold to a concert performance.
  2. The total tally of customer support tickets accumulated.
  3. A customer support ticket opened through HubSpot's service hub.

The Answer is C.

A "ticket record" is the official term given to a customer support ticket opened through HubSpot's service hub.

Much like contact and company records, a ticket record is designed to keep track of all associated details of the interaction, including the particular issue at hand, its status in waiting on a resolution, the point at which it has been closed, etc.

Just as a deal record documents the stages of the customer journey, a ticket record similarly moves the support ticket down the appropriate pipeline, from customer to service department, until the problem is satisfactorily resolved.
