A HubSpot lifecycle stage is a property which directly corresponds to where a contact falls within your sales and marketing pipeline.
Lifecycle stages are set by default within HubSpot, the values of which cannot be changed.
There are eight lifecycle stages:
- Marketing Qualified Lead (MQL)
- Sales Qualified Lead (SQL)
Utilizing these properties with a level of consistency can help to provide clarity on your sales and marketing process, as well as improve the handoff of leads between the two teams.
