Beverly Fortune

Beverly Fortune has been with Morey Creative Studios for more than 20 years and serves as its COO and oversees the custom publishing division of the company.

Fortune spent her career in publishing, writing, marketing and communications, working with organizations, professional firms, associations, and non-profits with a focus on business development, internal and external marketing, project management and fundraising.

Fortune was recognized by the New York Press Association as Best Columnist in NY State for her Fortune 52 column that was featured in the Long Island Press and is now being published in the Long Island Herald newspaper. Fortune has personally interviewed more than 250 Long Island women and by sharing their stories, sought to inspire others to challenge themselves and become leaders in their field.

Fortune has been honored for her leadership role by several charitable and community organizations, including the Long Island Crisis Center, the Women’s Financial Group, Town of Brookhaven, the Education and Assistance Corporation. She has been recognized three times as a Top 50 Women in Business by Long Island Business News and is now a member of their hall of fame. Fortune has planned and produced some of Long Island’s best-known events including the 50 Most Powerful and Influential Long Islanders and is credited with the concept of the highly-successful Long Island Beauty Ball for Cancer Care hosted by non-profit Mondays at Racine. Beverly is an Energeia Partner with the Academy of Regional Stewardship at Molloy College and serves on the board of the Nassau Community College Foundation.
