Jon Sasala graduated in September of 2001 with an Associated Degree in Graphic Design from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. In November of 2001 Sasala joined Dillon Design Group as Junior Designer, which at the time was being acquired by The Morey Organization. He was appointed Lead Designer for their new arts & entertainment newspaper, The New Island Ear, and when that publication relaunched in 2003 as a weekly alternative news publication, the Long Island Press, Sasala was awarded the title of Art Director.
The title of Art Director came to represent not only Sasala’s commitment to the creative standards for the Long Island Press, but across all Morey Organization properties and everything they produced. This covered the branding and marketing for TMO’s radio stations, events company, restaurants and catering venue, among others. Sasala was named Creative Director in 2011 and was instrumental in the transition to the digital marketing agency Morey Creative is today.
In 2015, Morey Creative became a HubSpot Partner Agency, beginning the most challenging and rewarding chapter of Jon’s career. There is almost nothing more important to Sasala than the work he does for this organization, second only to the love of his life, his incredible wife, Christen Sasala. They live with their beautiful daughter, Margot May, in Smithtown, NY.
