Having learned early on in life that, sometimes, opting for the nickname just makes more sense—Melissa "DellaB" DellaBartolomea has been a member of the Morey Creative family since July of 2018.
With the help of an English Degree, a natural tendency to over-analyze, and one fateful instance of watching over another marketer's shoulder and (foolishly) saying, "I can do that," Melissa found her way into the world of Inbound, HubSpot, and Digital Marketing.
Pulling first from her academic background, Melissa began her marketing career as a writer and content developer obsessed with understanding and leveraging the connections between audience, voice, and intent. As time went on, she'd find herself falling in love (in the way that only a marketer can) with the worlds of higher-level strategy, reporting, and analytics.
In the years leading up to the particular HubSpot User Group that would set her on a crash course with Morey Creative, she would spend her time working with several other HubSpot Partner Agencies as well as an extended run as the in-house Inbound Marketing Lead for a local company specializing in nutraceuticals (which is, in fact, a real word despite what spellcheck may say).
Since joining the Morey Creative, Melissa has been able to leverage her past experiences and the skills she's gained—while embracing new ones. Surrounded by talented team members and amazing clients on a daily basis, there's never a dull moment and always something to learn.
A woman of many names, even in life outside the office ("Mel" to her sisters, "Moe" to her family, "Mo" to her friends, and "Aunt Mo" to one particularly cute pair of munchkins), you can usually find her doing something. Some days you'll catch her working on a yarn-related project or busting out the paints, pencils, and canvas. On others you might find her testing out a recipe, reading up on something interesting and new, or working with her husband to plan out next year's garden beds (or the next home improvement project).
