On this episode of 'Inbound & Down,' co-hosts Jon Sasala and Danielle Esposito lay out the best HubSpot Academy certification paths per discipline.

So, I wasn't sure how to start this blog.

Naturally, as any writer would do, I took to YouTube for research. I thought I could dredge up a funny reference by typing "certification song" into the search—and you bet I did. I discovered a song I'd never heard before by T.I. called "Certified" featuring Jacquees.

Spoiler alert: It wasn't good. But, a lyric did inspire me. 

"Shawty like me cause I'm [HubSpot] certified." –T.I.

As a HubSpot Partner Agency, we need to be experts on all things HubSpot. The software is incredibly vast in features and capabilities, and the HubSpot Academy videos make learning the platform straightforward, educational, and (at least for me) fun. 

HubSpot Academy's interface and expansive options may make a beginning learner's journey a little hairy, but we've plotted out the best path for designers, marketers, salespeople, account managers, and agencies to follow.

This may seem intimidating, but each certification is structured into chapters and individual lessons to make them digestible. If you're on the go, you can access audio versions. Prefer to read? You can download the lesson transcripts, or watch with captions.

Certification Maintenance 

Your certifications will expire in one to two years from the date you passed. This encourages continuous education, and ensures you're up-to-date on the latest features and iterations of the software. HubSpot Academy periodically updates the courses with fresh information and lessons for maximum edification.

Badge HealthTo view your certifications, log into HubSpot, mouse to your account settings in the top right corner, select Learning Center from the dropdown, and navigate to My Team. The badges will be filled in if you've completed a certification. When a certification is set to expire soon, there will be a red circle with an exclamation point to alert you, and you'll receive an email alert as well.
