In this episode, hosts Jon Sasala, Creative Director at Morey Creative, and Danielle Esposito, the digital marketing agency's Senior Strategist, introduce HubSpot, the popular inbound marketing and sales platform. Jon explains his "Neo Matrix Moment," and Danielle dives into the keyword tool to define some key ranking metrics. “Every web developer knows what you need to do to create a successful website," he explains. "First of all, have a great-looking website. But second of all, if the point of this is to be found, you have to have incredible SEO [search engine optimization]. You need to build a site that follows all the rules. You need to follow all of the best practices."

He is referring to things like properly using header tags, meta descriptions, alt tags and keywords, among other best practices they cover.

"We all know those elements, but there’s nothing watching our back making sure that we’re do all of these things," continues Sasala. "HubSpot is a checklist.”
