On this episode of "Inbound & Down," co-hosts Jon Sasala and Danielle Esposito of Morey Publishing discuss the best practices for building a killer website. They also bring a special guest in from the pit to talk about design resources and related trends growing in popularity.
Your website is a potential customer's first impression of your business, so knowing how to build one that's not only beautiful, but delivers a seamless user experience, is vital.
Having created dozens of (gorgeous) websites for clients across a wide range of industries, our designers know the best practices, inside and out. They are masters at developing websites for search engine rankings, great user experiences, and attracting visitors. And of course, as design and graphics evolve every year, so too do they stay up to date with the latest trends.
"I'm seeing a lot more of custom and authentic photography being used on websites—and a lot less stock photos being used with blogs as well," says Morey Publishing Senior Designer Jon Chim. "I'm seeing a lot more hand-drawn illustrations."
What are other common trends? Large bold typography, louder and brighter color palette, and the use of gradients, he adds.
Key Takeaways From This Episode:
