The accolades continue to pile up for Citibeats, a Barcelona-based SaaS company and Morey Creative Studios client that develops ethical artificial intelligence (AI) solutions to analyze vast amounts of data from citizens and drive meaningful change.

Its latest honor may be the most notable yet, however: The World Economic Forum recently recognized Citibeats as one of its Technology Pioneers for 2022.

“Being acknowledged as a Technology Pioneer by the World Economic Forum is a real honor for Citibeats,” says Founder and CEO Ivan Caballero. “It is like a seal of quality, a trust badge that confirms and further validates the value of our technology and our ethical approach towards AI.”

Citibeats leverages an ethical AI platform combining natural language processing and machine learning to detect and understand societal trends. Its social risk and sustainability monitors enable leaders in the public and private sectors to identify and address citizens’ concerns on pressing topics ranging from vaccine misinformation and gender equality to clean energy and environmental justice. In doing so, they can make more informed, human-based decisions.

As a Technology Pioneer, Citibeats will participate in World Economic Forum activities, events, and discussions throughout the year. The company will also support and advise global leaders to help address key industry and societal issues throughout the next two years.

The World Economic Forum launched the Technology Pioneers community in 2000, believing that innovation is critical to the well-being of society and driving economic growth. It describes Technology Pioneers as “early-to growth-stage companies from around the world that are pioneering new technologies and innovations.”

With such recognition, Citibeats joins a distinguished group that has included Airbnb, Google, Kaggle, Kickstarter, Mozilla, Scribd, Spotify, Twitter, and more.

The Citibeats team sent their gratitude to Morey Creative Studios: “Thank you, Morey, for your support and for believing in our vision of an ethical use of technology to make the world a better place. This acknowledgment has been possible also thanks to you.”

“Part of our Grow For Good™ identity is the belief that companies can have a positive social impact,” said Jon Sasala, president of HubSpot partner agency Morey Creative Studios. “Citibeats certainly fits that description. We couldn’t be more proud of its recognition as a Technology Pioneer by the World Economic Forum, and we can’t wait to support their growth.”
